Coleen Rowley was a Minneapolis FBI agent who triggered a fury over lapses in the government's counter terrorism efforts in the months before the September 11th attacks.
Rowley claimed that before September 11th, Senior FBI officials at the agency disregarded intelligence about suspected high-jacker Zacarias Moussaoui.
As a result they missed a real opportunity to prevent the September 11th attacks.
In 2002, Rawley sent a blistering letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller regarding their failure to investigate intelligence reports concerning possible terrorist attacks on the United States .
