Bell ExpressVu Scam

The Bell ExpressVu Scam began with a call to bell. After numerous complaints and emails Bell finally called me regarding my Bell ExpressVU scam order for PVR.

The person I spoke with said We will have to pay the $75 for the installation/service charge for the PVR then they will credit my account 1 month of charges. I was then transferred to the order department.

The person I was speaking with was xxxx. She did not know about if the regular PVR had DTS or 5.1 sound options and I was transferred again to tech support. I spoke with xxxx. He did not know the difference between digital audio and regular audio or if the receiver would work with 5.1 sound. Then on the Bell ExpressVu scam continues

Also said HD PVR could not work on standard TV then he transferred me back to billing I then spoke with xxxx I Gave her myvisa number said and she said installation would be in 2-3 days. It She also said there would be a $50 charge on Visa which will be credited back on my first bill and an additional $75 will be charged to visa and credited back on my future bill(s). I was on the phone a total of 36:24.

This was Bell ExpressVu's scam response

I understand that you would like to exchange your receiver however you were not satisfied with our customer service department because after a long time conversation for 36.24 you were confused regarding the charges and the credits.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. At Bell ExpressVu we strive to provide excellent customer service at all times.

We apologize that you have experienced less than satisfactory service from us on this occasion. Please know that this was an isolated incident. You will be delighted to know that this will be rectified to your satisfaction as you are truly valued as our customer.

I would like to inform you that the charges would apply first after that it would be credited back to your account. Rest assured that there would be no wrong charges and the extra charges will be applied on your account.
